Women

It's International Women's Day. Let's celebrate with some success stories from our work in the field:

Adeen Thafer, 29 years old, from Tulkarm: Coordinator of the FADOC project at the Al-Awda Association in Tulkarm, implemented by the MA’AN Development Center in partnership with the Popular Art Center and funded by Solsoc, the Belgian government. Through the learning spaces in the forum, Adeen moved within 3 years from a participant to an active volunteer, to a facilitator and trainer in various issues, the most important of which was the debates between youth groups at the regional and national levels. She is leading  youth activities, events and campaigns at the national level.

“FADOC tries to consolidate the authentic community work and national values in a simple way. I brought this idea out to the world in my own way and my style without any frames. As I believe that volunteer work and collective initiatives have a great impact on changing societies for the better, and I have many stories that inspired me to pursue my social activities.  Being women is the catalyst that makes us always give and advocate for any oppressed women, it is the duty of all of us, regardless of education, circumstances, or experiences we have gone through. " Adeen said.
